Agribusiness
This program highlights Oregon’s most valuable agricultural sector—the nursery industry—while exploring sustainable farming practices and the business strategies behind successful operations. Students will gain hands-on experience and bring large-scale agriculture into the classroom through local farm visits, mentorships with industry professionals, and exposure to the wide range of careers available in agriculture.
Agribusiness
Access to Agribusiness coursework through the Barbara Roberts CTEC will begin when full pathways are developed, with a goal of Fall 2027. Course information will be posted here as it is developed.
Student Outcomes
Long-term, students who complete the Agricultural Business pathway will have an in-depth understanding of practices in a variety of careers related to agriculture, including business/sales, hands-on farming and professional communication.
