Manufacturing Technology

Manufacturing will utilize existing equipment and staffing to expand opportunities for students interested in career paths based on manufacturing skills. Students participating in this tract will also learn the business skills necessary to run a small business.

Manufacturing

Learning simulators will be available to BRCTEC students and community groups of up to 16 people in Fall 2026.

Individual labs will take 5-6 days to work through and will offer insights into skills necessary for success in the manufacturing sector.  Industry standard virtual reality welding simulators use realistic tools and immersive feedback to teach MIG Stick and TIG welding in multiple positions without using real materials.

Student Outcomes

Long-term, students participating in the full Manufacturing pathway will have their learning enhanced by hands-on internships and training with local manufacturing organizations partnering with the Career Technical Center.
